Link-age Connect is engaging its market intelligence capabilities to share Pulse Surveys, quick surveys distributed by Link-age on topics of current interest among older adults. January’s Pulse Survey polled individuals aged 55 and older on their travel plans for the future. Answers reflect exactly what was submitted via the survey, so be sure to verify any information you choose to use.

January Pulse Survey: Travel

Q1: Please tell us your plans for traveling in 2022 (check all that apply).

Key Findings: 20% still not planning on any travel in 2022. Almost 60% plan on travel only within the United States

Q2: In a few words, please tell us what your criteria is for “absolutely necessary” travel.

Q3: Which best describes your personal leisure travel plans for 2022 compared to your pre-COVID 19 personal leisure travel?

Key Findings: Over half plan to resume travel to about the same as they did before COVID. 44% Will not make plans to travel for the foreseeable future.
